Connecting to the correct wireless network (Faculty, Staff, Students or Guests) has always been a challenge to a new SMU user. Most will seek assistance from Helpdesk even though self-help guide is available. The request for such assistance traditionally peaks in the month of August. To automate this process, the Wi-Fi Helper is created. This tool is easy to use – the configuration is done with just one click and it can also provide basic wireless troubleshooting.
